Real Time Admission Edit - Subscription Service

 

 A “clean” Admission record is the goal of most healthcare organizations.  Premier’s Real Time Admission Edit software is the first and ONLY Admission Edit Solution specifically designed and integrated with the MedSeries4® Admissions program.

 

Registration account issues can and should be addressed throughout the life cycle of an account. This product allows authorized users review any account that has errors in a work list format, taking them directly to the issue to be fixed, usually where the error initially occurred and then returns them back to the work list to work other errors on the account.

Hospital Specific Edits

As part of the subscription service, hospitals are asked to provide additional edits that would insure accurate admissions including custom edits created for small payers normally not supported. Ultimately, a clean admission leading to the clean claim results in rapid and full insurance reimbursements.

·         Edits pop up if errors exist as the clerk completes the last admit screen.

·         Provides the ability to correct errors or branch back to screens in MS4 to make corrections

·         Provides a prompt screen for Hospital Specific instructions for each error

·         Checks the admission during the Pre-Admission and then again during the Admission

·         Provides a Work list Screen by User of Accounts with outstanding Admission Errors . The account will be available up to the time of billing.

·         Provides a Log which will provide statistics of the number of admission errors by individual User, workstation and time.

·         Log records are written during Preadmission, Admission, Admission Update, at next day end, after 24 hours from Admission and at the time of billing with the Detail Error information as well as summary information (Similar to the Medical Necessity Log)  The concept here is that the Admission clerk could come back and make updates and corrections prior to the billing for information that was not available at the time of registration.
